YES, we took the plunge to halfway on 16th April 2011.
Well planning of the engagement was easy (some drama involved but I will leave that out). If you ask me, I do want a big engagement ceremony but come to think of it, macam buang duit. So we had it simple. REALLY simple. His side (his grandma, mom & auntie) came over to talk to my side (auntie, uncle, granny, mom & dad). Everything went smoothly, Alhamdullilah.
I did buy a simple baju for the ceremony cos I wasn't willing to spend on ANYTHING, yes cheapskate is me. And another factor why we settled for a simple ceremony is because...I am lazy to clean my room, HAHA!
Anyhoos, I think things are different now. I don't know how to explain ah but you can feel the responsibilities and you KNOW people have expectations. So the date has been more or less set. End of 2013. Let him finish his studies first- so that means I have 2 years and 6 months to save up and plan! GAHHHH!!
