Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. - The Wonder Years
Been almost 2 weeks since my Nyai left us. Coping and feeling better, it gets to me sometimes but I try my best to suppress those feelings. Not liking other people's
My birthday came and went, nothing fancy. Had to work that day due to some issues which totally pissed me off. Had a quiet dinner at Badoque with my loved ones the next day and discussed a bit of wedding stuff.
Speaking of weddings, my cousin asked me to be her bridesmaid! I'm thrilled! We weren't very close until recently and I am honoured that she even considered asking. Wedding will be next year and I am excited to see the works of the vendors she engaged. I'm gonna judge their works and decide if I should engage them for my wedding! Hee.
Been reading some wedding blogs and I am absolutely overwhelmed. Wow, the logistics. I don't like dealing with planning and logistics but can't depend on anyone right? I can't afford a wedding planner, you know?
We've finally decided on the wedding date- 30th November 2013 for my side and 1st December 2013 for his side. Dad is not pleased. He thinks we should do it together on 1 day. No way, it will be too tiring and NO to a combined wedding. My parents are 50/50 with a combined wedding, they don't mind but I am absolutely against it because plenty of issues will arise. I'm glad that my Mom told me that she will not be inviting unnecessary people and my friends are the priority.
I still think my wedding is a loooong way to go but everyone thinks other wise. *shrug* Can start booking and planning next year, been told that November and December are hot dates and I must be quick, haha.
Well, I'll think of the whole wedding hoohaa some other time then. Haha.
